PLC Plug-in Modules

Hardy Instruments' line of single-slot PLC weigh scale modules are used in a wide variety of applications that include Batching/Blending, Filling/Dispensing, Check Weighing, Level by Weight, Force measurement and Rate Monitoring.

These modules are self contained microprocessor-based I/O modules with control inputs and outputs that are easily designed to be easily plugged into the back plane of Allen-Bradley® programmable logic controllers.

Modules with either single or dual scale capabilities are available for the following Allen-Bradley PLCs and are all Encompass approved:

• HI 1756-FC weigh scale modules for ControlLogix®
• HI 1756-WS weigh scale modules for ControlLogix® (single and dual scale)
• HI 1769-WS weigh scale modules for CompactLogix® (single and dual scale)
• HI 1769-WS weigh scale modules for MicroLogix 1500 (single and dual scale)
• HI 1746-WS weigh scale modules for SLC 500
• HI 1771-WS for PLC Series 5

A din rail mountable ODVA “conformance tested” DeviceNet weigh module is available to transmit data to any type/brand of PLC that supports DeviceNet communications.

These Controllers use WAVERSAVER® to eliminate the effects of vibration on the weight signal, C2® to allow electronic calibration of the weighing system and Integrated Technician for system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
