Serial interface comes standard on most of Hardy's weight controllers

Hardy Instruments provides various versions of standard serial communications based on the product model purchased.

The HI 2151/30 WC comes standard with an RS 232, EIA 422 or EIA 485 selectable serial port allowing you to share data and resources. It also provides the Hardy Link Local Area Network that allows multiple units to communicate over EIA 422 or EIA 485 to a host system in a multi-drop configuration.

The HI 3000 Series of products provide a standard Simplex RS 232 serial port providing weight data to a printer or remote scoreboard display.

The HI 4000 Series of products provide a standard duplex RS 232 non-isolated serial port that can stream weight data to a printer or remote scoreboard display.
